According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are approximately 285 million blind and visually impaired individuals worldwide, and around 2.2 billion people with vision problems. Every day, they face numerous challenges related to daily life, including maintaining independence and the ability to move freely within various types of buildings. Access to commercial and public services should be equal for everyone. Therefore, it is crucial to create inclusive environments and interiors accessible to all.
How Does 🤔 It Work?
You launch the app, and it accompanies you for an extended period - thanks to the optimized background operation process, the app does not cause excessive battery drain.
As you approach a location that uses NaviWay signage, the area (GeoArea) will automatically detect your presence and send a notification directly to the app.
When you are near a building, the NaviWay Beacon will inform you of the exact location of the entrance through an audio-visual signal.
Inside, using the app and the camera on your smartphone, you can read the NaviStickers (graphic codes in the form of stickers) placed there, which will provide support and navigation in the new location.
NaviWay is a low-emission, technologically advanced, comprehensive navigation system. Developed with environmental 🌱 responsibility in mind, it has been extensively tested for usability.
